Tell Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Immigration Minister Peter Dutton: Let Them Stay

Right now there are 267 asylum seekers in Australia who the Immigration Minister, Peter Dutton, is threatening to send back to offshore detention camps on Manus Island and Nauru.

Among the 267 people are young babies born in Australia and kids currently going to local primary schools. There are cricket fans and accountants and great cooks, who fled war and terror to seek safety in our community. The 267 even include women who have been sexually assaulted on Nauru and now face return to their abusers.

Tell the Prime Minister - don’t send them back.

  • Please act now and stop the process of sending these people back.
  • Please let them stay. Australia is a big land with good facilities. Why Australian government cannot accept this people here? All people have a right to stay. Where our humanity?
  • All people have a right to safety and refuge. Let them stay.

  • All people deserve the right to seek protection and refuge when faced with danger due to unfair and inhumane discrimination. Our Government’s perpetuation of harm and suffering to innocent adults’ is unacceptable, however the extend of this brutality to children and new-borns is abhorrent.
  • These are human beings who have suffered and come here hoping for compassion, thinking Australia was a fair country, “land of the free” and “home of the brave”

It is not brave to be cruel and heartless., It is not freedom when it is not extended to others in need. I used to be proud to be Australian. Now I am ashamed.

You have the power to make Australia a country to be proud of, once again, a country that is respected and honoured throughout the world.

Please, use your power to help these people in need, guilty of nothing more than being in the wrong place at this time in history.

Make us proud to have you as a leader.
